The People Foundation's mission is to empower people by offering tools that encourage accountability, emotional growth, and personal responsibility. We believe that true personal growth begins with education, self-awareness, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to society.

For over two decades, we’ve dedicated our time, energy, and resources to causes that matter—raising awareness, promoting social responsibility, and supporting community service programs nationwide. Make a Life-Changing Difference for Children

Court Appointed Special Advocate® (CASA) and Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for children’s best interests. These volunteers provide critical support to children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. Many of them are in foster care, and your support can make a difference.

How can you help?
As a CASA or GAL volunteer, you will have the opportunity to advocate for children’s best interests, providing a voice for those who may not have one.

Promote the Disaster Action Team with American Red Cross

Volunteer with the Idaho and East Oregon Region of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT). You can be part of a team that helps people who are forced from their homes due to fires, storms, and other disasters.

As a member of the Disaster Action Team, you will provide critical support to individuals and families affected by disasters. You can make a life-changing difference in their time of need.

Project Open Hand is seeking volunteers to help improve health outcomes and quality of life by providing nutritious meals to the sick and vulnerable.

Help Reduce Hunger in Idaho

The Idaho Foodbank is dedicated to reducing hunger and improving the lives of struggling working parents, children, and seniors in Idaho. By getting involved, you can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

The People Foundation is supporting a Community Service project to:

Help the Coalition for the Homeless NYC

The Grand Central Food Program is also looking for volunteer drivers from 6:45pm until roughly 9:30pm. The route begins and ends at St. Bartholomew’s Church on 51st Street. This opportunity requires that you commit to joining us consistently.

How can you help?
Our Grand Central Food Program is the largest nightly mobile soup kitchen in the country delivering roughly 1,000 meals every night of the year at 22 stops around New York. We take up to 6 volunteers to join us at our first stop at St. Bartholomew’s Church from 4:30pm to help us set up and serve meals until 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
