Terms of Service for Enrollment

The People Foundation Organization

By enrolling in The People Foundation Organization’s online community service program ("Program"), you ("Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions:

Program Overview

The People Foundation Organization provides self-paced, educational, and reflective community service courses that allow participants to earn documented community service hours. Each course is professionally developed and includes reading, video or audio material, timed tracking, and reflection-based assessments.

Eligibility

Enrollment is open to individuals:

  • Ordered by a court, school, or other authority to complete community service hours
  • Completing hours voluntarily for personal growth or civic engagement
  • Able to access the program via a device with internet access

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the program meets the requirements of their specific jurisdiction or assigning authority before completing hours.

No Cheating Policy

Participants are expected to complete all coursework honestly and independently. Cheating of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Having someone else complete lessons or assignments on your behalf
  • Attempting to hack, manipulate, or bypass time-tracking or assessment features
  • Submitting false or copied responses
  • Using AI tools or unauthorized assistance to answer reflective questions

Any form of cheating is a violation of this agreement and may result in account suspension without refund. Depending on the nature of the offense, certain actions may also constitute fraud or computer crimes under applicable law.

Money-Back Guarantee

If your jurisdiction (court, probation officer, school, etc.) does not accept The People Foundation Organization’s program after you enroll, you may be eligible for a full refund — under the following conditions:

  • You provide written documentation or communication from the court, school, or supervising agency clearly stating non-acceptance
  • You must have attempted a good faith effort and in compliance with all Terms of Service, including the No Cheating Policy outlined in this Terms of Service

Participants who are found to have violated the No Cheating Policy — including but not limited to having someone else complete lessons, submitting falsified information, or attempting to manipulate the system — are not eligible for a refund under this policy. In such cases, The People Foundation reserves the right to suspend the participant’s account and revoke access to all course materials and certification documents. This guarantee is intended to protect participants who make an honest effort to complete their service hours but are denied acceptance solely due to jurisdictional restrictions — not due to misconduct or misuse of the program.

To request a refund, please contact us with your full name, order details, and documentation of non-acceptance.

Time Tracking and Certificates

All participant activity is tracked, logged, and stored electronically. Upon course completion, participants receive:

  • A Certificate of Completion
  • A Time Log Report reflecting hours spent

These documents are printable and available for official use.

Code of Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • Submit original, thoughtful responses to all reflective questions
  • Not misuse, copy, or distribute course materials
  • Not falsify time logs or completion data

Violations may result in suspension of access without refund.

No Guarantee of Legal Outcome

While our program is recognized by many agencies and jurisdictions, we cannot guarantee that participation will influence court or legal decisions. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of your jurisdiction. We encourage participants to confirm acceptability in advance.

Intellectual Property

All content, lessons, materials, and documentation are the exclusive property of The People Foundation Organization and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to verify enrollment, time tracking, and certificate issuance. Personal data is stored securely and is never sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid transaction is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of our Terms of Service. By enrolling in The People Foundation Organization’s program, you agree to use our internal refund request process if dissatisfied. Unauthorized disputes may result in account suspension and could be referred for legal review. Fraudulent chargebacks—where services were accessed or knowingly purchased—may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Modifications to Terms

The People Foundation Organization reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
